Getting Visitors to Your Web site

There are many ways to try to get visitors to get to your web site. Many webmasters simply use the ‘Submit a Site' button on their favorite search engine. Generally it takes a lot more work than that to get a decent number of visitors to your web site. You may decide to learn a little search engine optimization (SEO) or try to get a reciprocal link from a related web site. The 'Search Engines' and 'Directories' sections are especially helpful if you want to learn SEO. If you want to add another way to get traffic feel free to email me through the contact page.

Search Engine Optimization Learn what SEO is and find out how you can use it to get higher rankings in the search engine results.

Search Engines Learn about all of the major and a few minor search engines ( in no particular order ): Fast/AllTheWeb, WiseNut, Teoma/Ask Jeeves, Google, Inktomi, Altavista and GigaBlast.
