Led by Dimitar Dimitrov, ICDsoft has been in business as a low-cost web host since its creation in 1999. They currently offer 2 web hosting plans: the first is $5 a month for 5 gb of bandwidth and 333 mb of space; the second is $10 a month for 10 gb of bandwidth and 999 mb of space.
Quality (Speed, Uptime, Support, Price)
When I first signed up in early 2003, ICDsoft only had servers located in the i-Advantage datacenter in Hong Kong. At first I thought it wouldn’t be a problem, and it wasn’t for the most part. But at times the servers would lag, sometimes to a near stand-still and at other times it would be relatively quick. Currently, however, ICDsoft has severs located in the US so server response times should be much speedier, now. Server load ( the server I was on hosted around 500 websites ) probably hasn’t changed since I was with them, so the servers may still lag during times when the server is under heavy usage.
During my stay with ICDsoft, I never actually saw that the server I was on go down. Although, it did have a habit of getting really slow. So the uptime was probably at least 99.9%.
ICDsoft’s online support is absolutely fantastic. Most of my support tickets were answered in minutes, they were for the most part really simple questions, but it’s still rather impressive.
The lowest plan they have starts at $5 a month for 5 gb of bandwidth and 333 mb of space and a lots of standard features like sub-domains, MySQL, CGI access, etc. In my opinion, the price isn’t bad for the features that you get.
The other plan they have costs $10 a month for 15 gb of bandwidth and 999 mb of space. It has all the features that the other plan has but you get a few more MySQL databases, sub-domains and other extras.

ICDsoft is a pretty solid web host that’s been around for quite a long time and doesn’t seem to be leaving anytime soon. The support and price is great, but speed may be an issue. All together ICDsoft is good for small to medium sized personal or business websites. I’d rate ICDsoft a 9/10 since they don’t offer raw traffic logs, or a more advanced stats system other than Webalizer. Click the link to go to ICDsoft.com.
